Teaching Philosophy:

A private instructor can help maximize a student’s opportunity for musical success. Because music is an ability-based subject, I only accept driven students who are willing to put forth the effort for the result that they desire! My goals are to improve the student’s musicality and facility, expand their trombone repertoire list and knowledge thereof, and familiarize them with an assortment of pedagogical practices.

I begin by introducing a healthy approach to playing, while honing the lesson curriculum to fit the student’s needs and assist them in reaching personal goals. Above all else, I emphasize developing the musician, not just the trombonist!
